50015 "Valiant" - Ramsbottom Station - 03-07-2011

Part of the Home fleet 50015 "Valiant" departs from Ramsbottom Station tailing a train hauled by 37518.

50015 was withdrawn by BR in November 1991 & bought initially by Pete Waterman who sold it on to the Manchester Class 50 Group who took the loco to the ELR.

Following a period of several years stored unserviceable "Valiant" was sold to the Bury Valiant Group (BVG) during 2007 who returned the loco to service. 50015 remains in the care of BVG and in operation on the ELR.
