Repair Book from D2985 (07001) whilst based at Eastleigh but probably outbased at
Southampton docks.
The book was new to the locomotive in October 1972.
D2985 (07001) Was Withdrawn From Service With BR in July 1977 and was immediately purchased by a private dealer who repaired the locomotive and found work for it at Peakstone Quarry near Dove Holes in the Peak District. It was retired from service at the quarry in 1986 following the arrival of a newer shunter and with a small electrical defect. 07001 was again sold on to a new owner on at the South Yorkshire Railway and today it survives in industrial use with HNRC.
